On Wednesday, I traveled by train from DC to NY for a work event, only to be delayed for quite sometime by a water main break just north of BWI airport that flooded the tracks. When we finally were able to get on a leaving train, it was quite full and no one could believe that water could be such an issue. Um, yeah. Here is what we saw when we got to the water main break (sorry for the blur, but we still were moving, however slight the pace):
I did finally get to NYC, only 2 hours delayed and 2 minutes to spare before my 5:30 pm event.

Wow. That sucks. Kudos to Amtrak for getting the trains back, though. We were delayed 2 hours or so coming back from Edinburgh because of rain flooding a tunnel. Charles was sick and it just sucked.
