The water or wax apple.
It has neither the fragrance nor the density of an apple. The flavor is a bit like a snow pear. The liquid to flesh ratio of the wax apple is comparable to a watermelon. It's remarkably refreshing and juicy. Unlike either apple or watermelon, the wax apple's flesh has a very loose weave.
BRING ME SOME NOW.

Not quite the flavour of the Ya Pear, but they just melt in ones mouth beautifully. Again delicious.
Just wait until I take my camera around the breakfast spread. You'll all be on planes the next day.
Culturally I might be off however. I'm just picking up the fruit and eating it with my fingers. The beautifully presented cutlery is staying in place. My room service peeps are probably thinking - "Oh the horror!"
Perhaps tonight I'll be civilised and use a knife and fork to ingest my fruit of the day. Can't wait to see what's on offer.
Oh and best of all they check my room at least twice a day which means double the toiletries I can pilfer along with a restock of the fruit if I've managed to get my timing right.
Yes, I'm sure this is all very nice. But - frankly - I worry about anything described as having flesh with "a very loose weave."
Don't you? I prefer to keep my flesh tightly woven.
