For Will's birthday a two years ago, I got him lemon and lime trees (and an orange tree, which promptly died; Will claims he is innocent). Several months on, the lemon tree is going like gangbusters!
The lime, at first struggling, is now producing lots of new growth!
We have them outside at the moment to get some of the fresh air and more direct sunlight. At the rate of growth, in another 2 years, we may have home grown lemons and limes! Vodka tonic with a self-farmed limes? Delicious! Wait-- I have an awesome idea! We start making our own potato vodka-- we already have those in production! Then it will really would be a delicious homemade vodka tonic. Now, if only I knew *someone* who knows about distilling alcohol...
