Vanity Debutes on a High Note

The vanity is floating! It is really looking more and more like a bathroom... And then you go and stand next to the vanity.


See, we asked them to hang the vanity as high as possible in order to take advantage of the space created between the vanity and the bench. But that is a bit too high. So, Big B and the Two Mikes (otherwise known as HoldFast DC) will rehang it on Monday at a lower level. It shouldn't be a big deal to lower it.

Trim work is throughout the bedroom (still need it on the stairwell and in the closet)-- 5 inches to match the rest of the trim work in the house:

The stained glass door is hung:

And the closet doors are going the right direction:

Big B figures there is another week worth of work and then at some point he will come back when the windows arrive (which will be in another 2 weeks). It is coming together nicely and quickly and we are getting more and more excited!
