The Panto

After a series of delays getting across the pond, we made it to the "Peter Pan" panto featuring the Hoff. It was a snowy night and the streets of Wimbledon filled with twinkling lights-- a perfect way for us to start off our Christmas holiday.

The panto was absolutely filled with people of all age ranges, and including Baby Spice from the Spice Girls and her kids! The sets were amazing-- especially the flight over London and the appearance of Captain Hook was hilarious! Hasselhoff went all out and there were several references to Knight Rider and Baywatch. The adult jokes, the ones I caught anyway, were amusing and the songs were spectacular.

Oscar and Lucas were riveted to the story--yelling when appropriate and clapping extra loud for Peter Pan or to save Tinkerbell. I must confess that Will and I were poking each other to stay awake throughout the whole show, but only because we had just arrived at the house and we were turned around to go to the play (that is how delayed we were).

And Edward and Sylvia had immense fun having the family together and at the play.
