Architectual Salavage


As a way to keep ourselves up and to see this place where Andrew is getting stuff for their remodel, we went to Lassco, an architectural salvage, ornament and curiosities shop. It is in a riverside mansion, the Brunswick House, once the home of the Duke of Brunswick. Every room is filled with salvaged doors, doorknobs, bathtubs, bolts, the list goes on and on. It was quite amazing. One could get marbled mantles or crystal chandeliers or brass bathtubs. It would just be a matter for trying to get it into your hand luggage...
