Will has successfully rebloomed another orchid-- another one that he has had for over 6 years!
The spike is coming off a two foot stalk. We have been watching this stalk stretch for weeks. Then it finally stopped producing leaves and started to send out a spike. The spike finally pushed out buds. And after another few days of waiting, the buds have started to open, displaying a magenta flower.
For as long at the stalk and spike are, we were expecting some more grandiose blossom. However, the color is quite spectacular even though they are quite small.
