Things on the chore list: recovering a sofa, re-purposing curtains, and making this seedling into a proper bonsai. Edward trimmed and straightened Will's golden rain tree seedling. He cut away side branches to make the central trunk thicker. He will top it so it fits within the pot. The general rule of thumb involved a 1/3rd of the trunk height and the width of the pot, or something like that.
The after tree is a bit sparse now and back on the shelf, so I guess the seedling is has been properly bonsai-ed. That chore didn't take too long at all.... better find something else for him to do!
