We rescued five of our grapes today, as the birds have discovered what is hiding underneath those leafy vines we have. We have plenty more green grapes that haven't ripened yet. But in the interest of safety, we took in these grapes so they would not be eaten by the hungry, scrounging starlings and catbirds. Little do these grapes suspect that they might be in more danger now that they are in the house....
