Repeative Weather
This massive weather system is the reason why we will be snowed in this weekend. Apparently it is going to cause about 1 to 2 FEET of snow to fall on Washington, starting tomorrow morning--just like the snow we had in mid-December.
The prediction is that all the area airports will be closed by 8 pm because they will not be able to handle the snow. That is some bad news for Andrew who is trying to return to the UK on a 7 pm flight from Dulles. We may have an extra guest for the weekend.
The Weather Channel, all the news stations, the papers, say that it could be about 2 feet in DC and even 3 in surrounding areas. And another storm is coming for next Wednesday.
I just hope that it really is that much snow, because if it is going to be this cold, we might as well have something to show for it.
By the way, the farmer's almanac, not to mention the persimmons, all mentioned that it was going to be a terrible winter. How right they were!
