Berlin, Part II: Eclectic Moniker

a foggy cold night in Berlin

Kamera Club at the Lido
After a day wandering the city, we met up with my friend Christiana and her friend Mufty, for a Vietnamese Dinner.  They convinced us that on a Saturday night, I did not need to go back early to my hotel.  I needed to go to the club and here live music.  We hopped into a taxi, and were whisked away to a small nightclub called Lido.

The first band was a bit crazy, with the lead singer at one point writhing on the floor.  The main band, The Eclectic Moniker, was GREAT.   They are a Danish band with 7 members, and lots of percussion.  Listen to one of their songs here: http://youtu.be/Pej_hc-LbYE
and then go to iTunes and PURCHASE the album.  You will not be disappointed.  Also, if they come to your town: GO TO THE SHOW!!!

We had a great time and they put on an excellent show.  It was so good to see live music again (it's been a while; I have been too busy in DC).  Plus, it was great company.

Seriously.  Go to Facebook and "like" them.  They are fantastic.
