That is an excellent article, and it hits on precisely one of my strongest criticisms of our great country: we are horribly self centered. We do not know the world around us, like the world knows us. We are overly confident that our way is the best way, regardless of the "facts on the ground." And we forget that we are a young nation. We still have much to learn. Fullilove's article reflects that reality. And I am tired of all the baseball references myself.
